The RiverTown Reindeer Race, a 5k (3.1 mile) race sponsored by
BlueCross/BlueShield of South Carolina and presented by the Red Cross
Rescue Racer program, will be held at 8 a.m. Dec. 5 in downtown
Conway. The certified route takes runners and walkers through some of
the most beautiful residential streets, including Laurel and Elm, in
this historic town with the race beginning and ending at the Conway
Marina. Residents are encouraged to join in to cheer the runners on
as they pass!

www.rmssports.com. Checks can be mailed to the American Red Cross,
2795 Pampas Dr., Myrtle Beach, SC 29577. Advance registration is $20.
Race day registration will be held from 7:15-7:45 a.m. with the race
starting at 8 a.m. The first 140 runners to sign up will receive a t-
shirt!

The Conway Chamber of Commerce will host a “Conway Spring Showcase”
business expo on Saturday, February 27, 2010, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
at the Peanut Warehouse in historic downtown Conway. All area
businesses, including local restaurants, are encouraged to “showcase”
and sell their products, services, and/or food during this event,
which will be open and advertised to the general public. For Conway
Chamber of Commerce members who register prior to January 31, 2010,
the “Early Bird” cost is $95; $200 for non-Chamber members. After
January 31, spaces for Chamber members is $150. More information to
