Waccamaw Bowling Center will join more than 3,200 bowling centers in celebrating National Bowling Week. The 2010 National Bowling Week kicks off on July 31. To launch the weeklong celebration, Waccamaw Bowling Center will host special events that include $1.00 hot dogs and sodas, World Record breaking on August 7th, quick and easy league sign-up, Bowlopolis Bowling Blastoff on September 4th, and fun! All events are open to the public.
Waccamaw Bowling Center will join more than 3,200 bowling centers during National Bowling Week to achieve a new World Record. On August 7, 2010 Waccamaw Bowling Center is inviting the public to participate in a challenge to break the current record of 741,821 bowling games played in a single day. All those who take part in the World Record breaking event will receive a certificate to verify their participation. On August 7, all people who download a free game coupon at www.gobowling.com can bowl one free game and take part in the World Record breaking event.

National Bowling Week is sponsored by the Bowling Proprietors’ Association of America (BPAA), Strike Ten Entertainment (STE), the International Bowling Pro Shop and Instructors Association (IBPSIA), the Professional Bowlers Association (PBA) and the United States Bowling Congress (USBC).
